Swankie Jo’s gift shop and gallery has welcomed its newest staff member — an Oor Wullie statue.
Wullie arrived just in time to celebrate the Dundee store’s first anniversary.
The unique tartan design was concocted by artist Sandra Kerr.
Kara Swankie, owner of the store, said: “He has arrived and is going to celebrate the first birthday of our business opening.
“This is the first time Tartan Wullie has been in Tayside, so we are very honoured to have him.”
Neil Cooney, project manager for Oor Wullie’s Bucket Trail, said: “The bucket trail will be in the city centre, which we hope will drive footfall into the heart of Dundee.”
