Police have confirmed that a missing 66-year-old has been traced.
Mary Petrie, who has advanced Alzheimer’s, vanished from the Dundee area at around 3.30pm today.
Police said the St Andrews woman was found “safe and well” in the city last night.
A police spokesman said: “The public are thanked for their assistance during this appeal.”
Police has previously said they were “pursuing various lines of inquiry to trace Mary” and urged anyone who knew her whereabouts to come forward at once.
