A man has died after an incident in Monifieth.
Emergency services were called after the man took ill on a path near the seafront.
Police, ambulance and fire personnel arrived at the scene, near Tayview Caravan Park.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police have been made aware of the sudden death of a man in his 60s on South Union Street in Monifieth today, at around 12.30pm.
“At this time the death is being treated as unexplained. As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
It is understood the death is not being treated as suspicious.
As well as police, a fire engine and ambulance attended the scene.
