A 28-year-old driver was attacked after his way was blocked by a group of men at a junction.
The man required hospital treatment after the incident at the junction of Blackness Avenue and Perth Road, Dundee on Wednesday 31 August.
The man was driving his van at around 1.30pm, stopped at the traffic lights at the junction and could not proceed due to a group of men blocking his way.
The victim got out of his van and a verbal discussion took place with the group of men and he was thereafter assaulted.
He suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspects are described as being aged between 18-20 years and wearing dark clothing.
