Residents in a Dundee tenement have called for action on antisocial behaviour after a fire behind their homes.
Fire crews were called out to Morgan Street on Monday after a blaze behind a block of flats.
Two fire appliances and police attended the scene in the Stobswell area at about 1.20pm.
A pile of rubbish was found on fire at the back of the building — which suffered superficial damage.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known, but tenants say that rubbish is regularly dumped close to the flats — which they believe is causing a safety issue.
Samantha Craik, 22, lives on the ground floor of the block where the fire broke out.

The customer adviser told the Tele that antisocial behaviour has led her to find a new home in another area of the city.
She said: “I just cannot believe that this has happened. I am moving away from here next month so hopefully it won’t be an issue.
“The flames could have spread to my house.
“I am totally shocked. I thought my flat was on fire when I came home and saw all the fire appliances on the street.”
She added: “We were supposed to get secure entry systems, but that hasn’t happened.
“I cleaned the close at the weekend and it is already covered in rubbish.
“Once I opened my door and found someone who had passed out in the close. I had to phone an ambulance.”
Fellow resident Pat Bedebe, 35, said she had come home to find the street cordoned off.
Pat, who works as a massage therapist, said: “I was very worried when I saw what was going on in the street.
“I came around the corner and saw police cars and fire appliances. I couldn’t get into my house.”
Meanwhile, another resident — who did not want to be named — added: “Someone could have been injured and something needs to be done to stop this kind of thing happening.”
Firefighters were seen going into one of the closes with hoses to extinguish the blaze.
Police Scotland vehicles were also on the scene with officers diverting traffic.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “Two appliances attended a fire at Morgan Street after receiving a call at 1.20pm.
“Rubbish at the rear of the tenement had gone on fire.
“The ground-floor property and storage area was smoke damaged.
“The properties on the other floors were checked for fire spread.”
The spokeswoman for the service added the appliances left at 2pm, having handed the site over to Police Scotland.
No one was injured in yesterday’s incident.
The street was closed while crews dealt with the fire.
