It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Dundee.
Preparations for the winter festivities are well under way with the installation of the City Square Christmas tree.
Workers today placed the huge spruce in its usual spot in the city centre.
Lights over streets surrounding the centre were put in position at the weekend ahead of the big switch on.
This year’s Light Night celebration will take place on Friday November 18.
The city centre will host the majority of the celebrations with a full programme of events pencilled in for throughout the day.
Slessor Gardens will also host a special festive market on the night featuring various food stalls and a bar.
