Three fire crews and paramedics were called to a Dundee flat – after a grill pan caught fire.
Emergency services attended a block of flats on Dochart Terrace, near to the entrance of St Ninian’s Primary in Menzieshill, just before 6.40pm yesterday.
Firefighters quickly dealt with the incident by removing the pan from the first floor flat.
A man was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.
The flat was then ventilated by fire crews before they left the scene.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a block of flats in Dochart Terrace at 6.39pm after reports of a grill pan on fire.
“The fire was extinguished by removing the grill from the property.
“One male was treated at the scene by paramedics.
“Two appliances from Blackness Road and one from Macalpine Road attended.”
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received an emergency call from firefighters at 6.45pm.
“We arrived on scene and treated a male casualty for minor smoke inhalation.
“He did not require hospital treatment.”
