YOU have found the Coca Cola bottle with your name on it and you have personalised everything from wine bottles to chocolates for your loved ones.

Now, you can turn your favourite newspaper into a festive gift for someone close to you — by finding their name printed on our special Christmas Eve edition.

Tomorrow, the Evening Telegraph will print thousands of papers, each with one of 150 different names on them, using our state-of-the-art digital printhead technology.

Each copy will also carry a “Merry Christmas” message.

The hunt will be on to find your own name or those of your friends and family.

All you have to do is turn up at your local shop and try to find them.

Will you find yours?
Will you find yours?

Be quick, because demand is likely to be high.

However, even if your desired name is something more unusual, or you have missed out, you can still wish your loved ones a Merry Christmas from the Tele — because we’ll have a selection of family titles available too.

So, whether it’s mum or dad, gran or grandad who is an avid reader of the newspaper — or you simply want to give them something special this Christmas — there will be plenty of options for everyone.

Tele editor Steve Bell said: “People are always looking for different ways to wish their friends and family a Merry Christmas.

“So, we thought we would make use of our new technology to customise every single copy of the Tele and pass on season’s greetings to as many people as we can in Dundee and Tayside.

“We have 150 different names being printed on copies of the paper, so the search will be on to find yours.

“This is something new and innovative for our newspaper.

“It’s a bit of fun for the holidays and will hopefully bring some festive cheer to residents of the city and beyond, just in time for the big day.

“We will, of course, still have our usual great mix of news, sport and features.

“I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our readers and their friends and family a very happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.”
