Videos of children fighting in Dundee have been uploaded to the internet.
The shocking footage features two battles close to the Beauly Avenue shops in Kirkton and another one behind Asda.
All depict the boys being egged on by pals, some of whom are filming the action taking place on their camera phones.
Some concerned onlookers try to break up the carnage.
But they are overruled by dozens of kids watching.
Since the footage was uploaded on Friday, two boys have been charged in relation to one of the incidents filmed.
A spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that two boys aged 15 and 14 were charged with a disturbance at Beauly Avenue, Dundee, on November, 5, 2015.
“A report was submitted to the Youth Justice Assessor for consideration.”
Local councillor Ian Borthwick said: “It’s sick that anyone would find these videos interesting.
“It also damages the reputation of Kirkton.
“To allow this on the internet shows the legislation in place isn’t strong enough and needs government action or a responsible authority to step in.”
The first video is of a fight near the Beauly Avenue shops.
The second video shows an incident which has taken place just yards away from the first fight.
This time, it shows two pupils in school uniform fighting, involving a taller child with glasses and a small boy.
Towards the end the smaller child actually pulls the boy with glasses to the ground and begins punching him to the sickening roar of approval from the youngsters watching.
The third video shows a fight between a child dressed in school clothes against another boy in a hoodie which takes place behind Asda on the grassy area.
The boy in the hoodie lays at least 30 punches on his opponent during the fight.
When one of the other children tries to step in to stop the violence, another shouts “let him fight”.
