Hundreds of Dundee school pupils have entertained an audience at the Caird Hall during the annual spring concerts.
The two evenings of music are fully performed by musicians from Dundee City Council’s primary and secondary schools.
Performing were the junior wind band, string orchestra, junior strings, guitar ensemble, concert band, rock band, percussion ensemble, senior wind and the schools symphony orchestra.
Stewart Hunter, convener of Dundee City Council’s education committee, said: “Since I became convener, I have attended a fair number of concerts and performances given by the young musicians and talented players who attend our schools.
“Every time I am amazed at the extremely proficient levels of musicianship and the sheer enjoyment of the young people taking part.
“From classical pieces to rock songs, the participants displayed their considerable flair to a very appreciative audience.”
