A 13-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after she was knocked down by a vehicle near a Dundee high school.
The girl was hit during the morning rush hour outside St John’s High School on Harefield Road.
She is in a stable condition at Ninewells Hospital.
The Scottish Ambulance Service received the call this morning just after 8.30am.
A spokesman said: “We attended St John’s High School on Harefield Road at 8.34am after receiving a report that a 13-year-old girl collided with a motor vehicle.
“The child was taken to Ninewells Hospital where she is in a stable condition.”
A Dundee City Council spokesman said: “Emergency services were called following an incident near the school.”
A police spokeswoman said: “We received a report of a road traffic incident involving a young pedestrian and a car at Harefield Road, Dundee at 8.35am today.
“The girl was taken to hospital, where it is understood she suffered very minor injuries. Inquiries are continuing.”
