Firefighters were called out to Whitfield last night after a wheelie bin was set alight.
An appliance from the Kingsway station was sent out at 8.55pm to Murrayfield Terrace.
A hose reel was used to put it out.
The blaze comes days after an unrelated wheelie bin fire in Mill ‘o Mains which damaged play equipment.
