A Dundee five-year-old who donated his toys to refugee children arriving in the city has been thanked with a trip to a fire station.
Jack Hamilton was invited to Blackness Road Fire Station, with his mum Natasha, to meet the fire fighters.
The visit was arranged by George Stenson, a crew manager at the fire station.
Jayne Kelly, co-ordinator of Tayside Action For Refugees — which benefited from Jack’s donation — said he had a great day spending time with the fire fighters, who went all out to give him a good time.

He rode in a fire engine and learnt what fire fighters do to tackle a blaze. He even got to extinguish a fire.
“Jack now wants to be a fire engine when he grows up”, Jayne said.
“I’m so pleased we did the visit, he’s the nicest, most charming wee boy. In a nutshell, he’s a little hero.
“And he bought me a bunch of flowers too. He also made sure all the toys were working and intact, so compassionate – I’m very proud to have met him. He’s a star, a gentleman, and I just can’t praise him enough.”
Jayne said Jack’s story had attracted a lot of attention and proven great publicity for Tayside Action For Refugees.
