It was festive fun all the way at the big charity show at Dundee’s Ice Arena on Saturday.

Organised by charity champion Charlie Kean, thousands of children were entertained throughout the day at three separate shows.

Charlie said he was very grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who turned out to help make the day perfect.

“Thanks must go to everyone who gave their time to make sure the children and their parents had an amazing day,” he said.

“Especially local police and fire officers, and the riders branch of the Royal British Legion.”

Charlie also paid tribute to all the skaters who put on a spectacular show, skating to music from Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, and Frozen, as well as to traditional carols and Christmas tunes.

Also ably assisting Charlie was city schoolgirl Megan Fletcher, 14, who is battling Hodgkin lymphoma and is the face of the Tele’s Bald is Beautiful campaign.
